This is a very scarce Japanese promotional 2-CD album set issued to radio stations and DJs in advance of the release of the 'Off The Ground' album back in 1993. It is featuring 36-tracks from Paul´s his solo career incl. 4-tracks from the "Off The Ground" album. As you can see at the scan of the back-inside it seems that it also was numbered. One copy of this disc was sold on EBAY in February 2009 for about 150 Euros. EIL.com is listing a copy for about 485 Euro which seems a little too much, but it´s indeed a very rare collectors item.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine sehr seltenes Japanisches 2-CD Promo Set, welches damals zur Veröffentlichung des "Off The Ground" Albums im Jahr 1993 an Radio Stationen und DJs verschickt wurde. Die beiden CDs beinhalten 36-Tracks aus Paul´s Solo-Karriere, sowie 4-Tracks vom "Off The Ground Album". Wie man auf dem Scan des Einlegers auf der Innenseite erkennen kann, wurde das Set sogar nummeriert. Ein Exemplar dieses Sets wurde im Februar 2009 für ca. 150 Euro bei EBAY verkauft. EIL.com bietet die gleiche CD für 485 Euro an, was dann doch ein wenig hoch gegriffen ist. Es handelt sich aber auf jeden Fall um ein recht seltenes Sammlerstück. |
