This CD first showed up on EBAY about September 2005 and it was described as "rare full Album promo". So first copies have been sold for about 120,- Euro... The artwork looks very very professional and if even if you´re looking at it a second time you wouldn´t say that this is not an official release. Only the printing on the disc is not what you would expect from an official EMI release. The colors are not correctly and the printing itself is very "rough".

The playing times of most of the songs is not correctly; even the "normal collector" can´t recognize this because there is no "real official CD-release" and only the vinyl version. Only if you do have one of the very expensive CD-promos you can look at it more exactly. Due to this I would say that this should be a vinyl transfer but the soundquality is not bad; no hissing or clicks at all from the vinyl. So if you can get this set for a reasonable price you should take it to have the "Twin Freaks" album on CD.

Das Artwork ist sehr professionell gestaltet und selbst wenn man ein zweites mal genau hinschaut kann man nahezu nicht erkennen das es sich nicht um eine offizielle Veröffentlichung handelt. Lediglich der Aufdruck auf der CD selber ist nicht was man von einer offiziellen Veröffentlichung von EMI erwarten würde. The Farben sind nicht korrekt und der Druck selber ist sehr stark "gepixelt".

The Spieldauer der meisten Songs ist nicht korrekt, wenngleich dies der "normal Sammler" sicherlich nicht erkennen kann da es bisher ja keine offizielle CD-Veröffentlichung gibt. Lediglich wenn man eine der teuren CD-Promos sein eigen nennt kann man hier einmal einen genauen Vergleich anstellen. Aus diese Tatsache heraus würde ich sagen das es sich hierbei um einen Transfer von Vinyl handelt, wobei die Soundqualität sehr gut ist; kein Rauschen oder sonstige Geräusche von der LP. Als Fazit dürfte insofern zu sagen sein das wenn man diese CD zu einem normalen Preis erstehen kann, sollte man zugreifen um das "Twin Freaks" Album auf CD zu haben.
